The Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway allows any local law enforcement agency with an Internet connection to access important crime-fighting data. HP offers reliable desktop solutions that help agencies access web-based resources.

Organization profile

Attorney General Jim Petro, is a lawyer for the state of Ohio and an enforcement authority. He also assists law enforcement agencies. Thanks to his vision of a data-sharing law enforcement community, a solution was created—the Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway (OHLEG).

Organization need

Solution overview

The Ohio Attorney General’s Office hosts a secure, web-based platform—known as the Ohio Law Enforcement Gateway (OHLEG)—that lets law enforcement across the statequickly and easily pull information from a variety of sources using a single interface.

Results

Law enforcement agencies now can quickly search millions of pieces of data to better investigate and solve crimes beyond traditional jurisdictional boundaries.
