Integrated Lights-Out (iLO) is a component of the Business-critical availability solution. It consists of an intelligent, embedded management processor and firmware that allows you to access and control server power, system console, serial port and system event logs regardless of the server's location. iLO is offered in two ways:
iLO Standard Offers basic system diagnostics and essential lights-out functionality as standard feature on most HP ProLiant servers.
Optional iLO Advanced Activates sophisticated, virtual administration features for full control of servers in data centres and remote locations.
