Protect your business with biometric authorisation & protection |
 |

For additional authentication security to your company notebooks or iPAQs, a biometric fingerprint reader is available as an accessory - so a fingerprint becomes a user's password. Highly accurate fingerprint matching algorithms ensure that only authorised persons will be permitted to access your data. The user interface is simple to understand and easily setup. And where your PIN or password may be stolen or forgotten, this is not likely to occur with your fingerprint.

Stop notebook thieves |

Notebook computers are the ultimate tools for business professionals who are on the go. However, they present a risk because crucial company data and access to key company systems is transported too. Several of HP’s business notebooks come complete with a combination of features to simplify and strengthen security.
Drive locks put a BIOS-level password on a notebook's hard drive, so that even if someone manages to bypass the notebooks standard Windows login, they will still need to know another password to access the hard drive. An administrator password allows a computer to boot, but restricts access to the BIOS so settings like the drive lock can't be changed. A power-on password requires a user to type a password before the BIOS boots and the operating system loads.
