HP Embedded Web Server provides a universal interface that anyone with a network-connected PC and a standard Web browser can easily access, as long as the MFP is connected to the network. It allows you to view status information, set tray loads and configurations, set network configurations, view and print internal pages and receive status notifications without having to be at the MFP’s control panel. Also available is the HP Web Jetadmin, a web-based peripheral management utility for remotely installing, configuring and managing a wide variety of HP and non-HP network peripherals. You can easily install and update groups of devices as well as download and update firmware or plug-ins. Advanced security features such as support for Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) v3.0 ensure that your networked devices are well protected.

Send documents to printers, network folders and fax services with the optional HP Digital Sending Software (DSS) 4.0 that allows you to capture, paper-based information digitally. For greater workflow efficiency, the optional HP AutoStore software works with DSS 4.0 to facilitate effortless routing of information to document management applications such as Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server, Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes.
