The tiny particles in HP ColorSphere toners are more consistent in both size and shape, enabling improved toner flow and more accurate placement on the page. HP ColorSphere toner has also been designed with improved melting and fusing technologies that allow for superior toner release and flow, delivering significantly higher gloss levels than previous HP toners.

Three components work together to enhance edges for excellent print quality:

  • Color Ret – Intelligently changes the size and position of the dots to smooth the edges of a solid object
  • Adaptive Half-toning – Increases the edge smoothness of text and graphics while maintaining the quality of filled areas
  • Trapping – Overlaps one colour with an adjacent colour to reduce the effect of colour plane misregistration.
